DAY 01:
Arrival at Haridwar
Upon your arrival in Haridwar, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the evening, visit the sacred Har Ki Pauri, one of the holiest ghats on the banks of the River Ganga. Witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, where thousands of oil lamps illuminate the river amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns, creating a truly divine atmosphere. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 02:
Haridwar – Barkot (Approx. 180 km | 7–8 Hours)
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive towards Barkot, a picturesque hill town nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas. The journey takes you through winding mountain roads, lush forests, charming villages, and breathtaking views of the Yamuna Valley. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax amidst the peaceful Himalayan surroundings.

DAY 03:
Yamunotri Excursion
Early in the morning, drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri. Trek approximately 6 km (one way) to reach the sacred Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. En route, visit the holy Surya Kund, the steaming hot water spring, and offer prayers at the sacred Divya Shila before entering the temple. After completing darshan and puja, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot for an overnight stay.

DAY 04:
Barkot – Uttarkashi (Approx. 100 km | 4–5 Hours)
After breakfast, proceed towards Uttarkashi, a beautiful spiritual town situated along the banks of the Bhagirathi River. On arrival, visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the famous Shakti Temple, known for its enormous trident. Spend the evening soaking in the tranquil atmosphere before returning to the hotel.

DAY 05:
Gangotri Excursion (Approx. 100 km One Way)
Start early for the sacred shrine of Gangotri, the origin of the holy River Ganga. The drive passes through the breathtaking Harsil Valley, dense pine forests, apple orchards, and the dramatic Bhairon Ghati. Upon reaching Gangotri, take a holy dip (if weather permits), offer prayers at the Gangotri Temple, and experience the serene spiritual surroundings. Later, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

DAY 06:
Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (Approx. 220 km | 8–9 Hours)
After breakfast, continue your pilgrimage towards Guptkashi through spectacular Himalayan landscapes and river valleys. Upon arrival, visit the ancient Ardh Narishwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati in a combined divine form. Spend some leisure time exploring the local market before retiring for the night.

DAY 07:
Guptkashi – Kedarnath
Begin the day with an early drive to Sonprayag and Gaurikund, from where the trek to Kedarnath begins. The 16–18 km trek follows the scenic Mandakini River, offering breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks and pristine mountain landscapes. Upon reaching Kedarnath, visit the revered Kedarnath Temple, one of the Twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, and attend the soul-stirring evening aarti. Overnight stay near the temple.

DAY 08:
Kedarnath – Guptkashi
Wake up early to attend the morning Abhishek Puja and seek blessings at Kedarnath Temple. After breakfast, begin the descent back to Gaurikund and continue by vehicle to Guptkashi. Relax after the adventurous pilgrimage and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.

DAY 09:
Guptkashi – Joshimath (Approx. 170 km | 7–8 Hours)
After breakfast, drive towards Joshimath through the spectacular confluences of Uttarakhand. En route, witness the sacred Prayags including Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandaprayag, where holy rivers merge amidst magnificent Himalayan scenery. Reach Joshimath by evening and check in to your hotel.

DAY 10:
Joshimath – Badrinath (Approx. 45 km)
After breakfast, drive to the holy town of Badrinath. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the sacred Tapt Kund before visiting the magnificent Badrinath Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Attend the evening aarti for a deeply spiritual experience. If time permits, visit Mana Village, India’s last village near the Indo-Tibetan border, along with Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and the legendary Bhim Pul.

DAY 11:
Badrinath – Rishikesh (Approx. 300 km | 10–11 Hours)
After the morning darshan at Badrinath Temple, begin your drive towards Rishikesh. En route, witness the sacred confluences of Vishnuprayag and Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi Rivers unite to form the holy Ganga. Arrive in Rishikesh by evening and enjoy the peaceful spiritual ambiance of this renowned yoga capital.

DAY 12:
Rishikesh Sightseeing & Departure
After breakfast, explore the spiritual landmarks of Rishikesh. Visit the iconic Ram Jhula and Lakshman Jhula suspension bridges, seek blessings at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and spend some peaceful moments at Triveni Ghat. After sightseeing, proceed to Haridwar Railway Station or Jolly Grant Airport, carrying home unforgettable memories of your sacred Char Dham pilgrimage.

May to June: Pleasant weather and clear skies.
September to October: Ideal weather after monsoon with excellent mountain views.
Avoid peak monsoon (July–August) due to landslides and road disruptions.

Carry warm clothing, rain gear, trekking shoes, and personal medicines.
Registration for Char Dham Yatra is mandatory.
Helicopter services for Kedarnath are available from Phata, Guptkashi, and Sersi (subject to weather and availability).
Senior citizens can use pony, palki, or helicopter services for Kedarnath and Yamunotri.
