TOUR PROGRAMME IN DETAILS:
DAY 01:
Departure from Kolkata to Amritsar by Sealdah–Amritsar Jallianwala Express (Train No. 12379) at 1:10 PM. A packed lunch will be provided. Overnight journey in the train. Train fare is not included. All onboard meals are to be borne by the travelers.

DAY 02:
Arrival at Amritsar by 3:50 PM and transfer to the hotel for check-in. By 5:00 PM, proceed for local sightseeing, including a visit to the iconic Golden Temple.

DAY 03:
After breakfast, begin a customized Heritage Walk tour of Amritsar. Visit the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh, the historic site where over 400 innocents lost their lives during the 1919 massacre. Next, explore the Partition Museum, the only museum of its kind in the world, chronicling the tragic events of 1947. Afterward, enjoy some shopping and lunch.
At 3:00 PM, depart for Wagah Border to witness the flag-lowering ceremony conducted by Indian and Pakistani border guards (ceremony starts around 5:00 PM and lasts approximately 30 minutes, timing may vary seasonally). Return to the hotel, followed by dinner. Later, transfer to Amritsar Station to board the Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Express (Train No. 19415) at 11:45 PM for an overnight journey to Katra.

Arrival at Katra in the morning and transfer to the respective hotel. Enjoy lunch and dinner at the hotel. Later, proceed for the Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan, either by walk or as per your preference.

After an early breakfast, guests who wish can opt for the Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan by helicopter at their convenience. The rest of the day is free for relaxation in Katra.

After breakfast, depart for Srinagar by Vande Bharat Express in an A/C Chair Car. Arrive in Srinagar by afternoon. Rest of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of the city.

After breakfast, depart for the Srinagar Tulip Tour. Begin with a city tour of Srinagar and visit the Mughal Garden “Nishat” (The Garden of Pleasure). Later, proceed to the Kashmir Tulip Garden – Asia’s largest tulip garden, spanning 90 acres with nearly 1.3 million tulip bulbs in 70 vibrant varieties, overlooking the Dal Lake. The garden, maintained by the Department of Floriculture, has imported nine lakh tulip bulbs from Holland this year. On the return, visit Dudhpathri for local sightseeing. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 08:
After breakfast, depart for Sonmarg (90 km / approx. 3-hour drive). Enjoy the scenic drive along the fast-flowing Sindh River, popular for trout and mahseer fishing in summer. Guests can opt for a pony ride to the glaciers for some fun in the snow and ice (at own cost). En route, visit Khir Bhabani Temple. Return to Srinagar by evening and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, depart early at 7:00 AM for a full-day trip to Gulmarg (approx. 2-hour drive). On arrival, enjoy a Gondola ride and explore the scenic beauty of Gulmarg. After sightseeing, return to Srinagar by evening and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, depart at 10:00 AM for Pahalgam, a scenic 158 km / 5-hour drive. Enjoy tea and lunch en route. Arrive in Pahalgam by late afternoon and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Pahalgam, known as the jewel of the picturesque Lidder Valley in the high Himalayas, offers breathtaking scenery and is ideal for activities like hiking, trekking, and fishing. It is also the starting point of the annual pilgrimage to the holy cave.

After breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing in Pahalgam, covering Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Baisaran Valley. Please note that the cost of a separate vehicle for Pahalgam sightseeing is not included in the package and is to be arranged and paid directly by the guests.

After breakfast, depart for Jammu, a scenic 10-hour drive. On arrival, board your train for onward journey to Kolkata.
