TOUR PROGRAMME IN DETAILS:
DAY 01:
Morning: Departure from Delhi/Kolkata for Dimapur. Upon arrival at Dimapur Airport, take a short break for refreshments before proceeding to Kohima, located approximately 74 km away (around a 2-hour drive).
Kohima, derived from the word “Kew Hi Ma,” meaning “the men of the land where the flower Kew Hi grows,” is the capital of Nagaland and is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,444 metres above sea level.
En route to Kohima, visit a traditional Nagaland village, such as Kigwema Village (Kepfiizha), to experience the local culture and traditional lifestyle.
Upon arrival in Kohima, transfer to the respective hotel for check-in and some relaxation. In the evening, visit the Kohima War Cemetery, situated in the heart of Kohima town. The cemetery commemorates the brave soldiers who displayed tremendous courage during World War II and sacrificed their lives to protect future generations.

Morning after breakfast dept for kohima local sightseeing visit Nagaland State Museum, Kohima War Cemetery, Zeinuo Badge, Kohima Village Gate. Late evening return to the hotel Dinner & Night stay at Kohima.

DAY 03:
After breakfast at the hotel, depart by 08:00 AM for local sightseeing in Kohima. Visit the Nagaland State Museum, which offers an insight into the rich cultural heritage and traditional lifestyle of Nagaland. The museum showcases traditional handlooms and handicrafts, tools and implements, ornaments and jewellery, coins, weapons, and other artefacts representing the customs and traditions of the various Naga tribes.
Later, proceed to Jakhama Village, a traditional Angami Naga village located approximately 15–20 km from Kohima. Explore the village and experience the traditional lifestyle, culture, and architecture of the Angami community.
After lunch, depart for Imphal, approximately 147 km from Kohima, with the journey taking around 4–5 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions.
Upon arrival in Imphal, transfer to the hotel and complete the check-in formalities. The evening is free for personal activities and leisure.
STAY AT IMPHAL
DAY 04:
After breakfast at the hotel, depart at 07:30 AM for local sightseeing in Imphal. Visit Kangla Fort, the historic seat of the rulers of Manipur, followed by a visit to Shree Govindajee Temple and ISKCON Temple.
Later, drive towards Moirang and take a short break for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Loktak Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Northeast India, famous for its unique floating phumdis (floating islands). Continue to Keibul Lamjao National Park, the world’s only floating national park and the natural habitat of the endangered Sangai deer, also known as the dancing deer of Manipur.
Return to Imphal by evening and take a leisurely walk through Ima Keithel (Mother’s Market), one of Imphal’s major attractions. This unique market is traditionally run entirely by women and offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the local culture and shop for traditional handicrafts, textiles, food products, and other local items.
Afterwards, return to the hotel for high tea. Later, proceed to Paona Bazaar, a popular shopping area known for local products, Chinese goods, and items influenced by neighbouring Myanmar (Burma).
STAY AT IMPHAL
DAY 05:
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Moreh, located approximately 122 km from Imphal, with a journey of around 4 hours each way, depending on road and traffic conditions.
Upon arrival at Moreh, proceed towards the India–Myanmar border. After completing the necessary immigration and security formalities, and subject to the prevailing border-entry regulations, visit the designated area on the Myanmar side. Valid travel documents and identity proof are required, and entry will be permitted only as per the applicable rules and permissions.
Spend some time exploring the border area and experiencing the local atmosphere before returning to Imphal by evening.
STAY AT IMPHAL
DAY 06:
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and, by 10:30 AM, transfer to the airport for your flight to Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram.
Upon arrival at Aizawl Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the respective tourist lodge/hotel for check-in and relaxation.
Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram, is situated at an altitude of approximately 4,000 feet above sea level. Surrounded by the lush green valley of the Tlawng River to the east and protected by the beautiful Durtlang Hills to the north, Aizawl is an ideal hill destination for travellers seeking fresh mountain air, scenic beauty, and tranquillity.
The evening is free to explore the city at your own pace or relax at the hotel.

DAY 07:
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day city sightseeing tour of Aizawl. Visit the Mizoram State Museum at McDonald Hill, which showcases the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and history of Mizoram.
Continue the sightseeing tour with visits to Berawtlang Tourist Complex, Science Centre, Aizawl Zoological Park, Lungverh, Durtlang Hills, KVI Handloom & Handicraft Sales Emporium at Zarkawt, MAHCO Showroom at Treasury Square, ZOHANDCO Showroom at Chaltlang, Horticulture Centre at Chite, K.V. Paradise at Durtlang, Martyrs’ Memorial at Luangmual, LAD Park at Muthi, and Muthi Hilltop.

DAY 08:
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Hmuifang, located approximately 40 km from Aizawl (around 1 hour by road).
En route, visit the Heritage Site and Centre of Excellence at Thiak, where you can learn about the local culture, traditions, and heritage of Mizoram.
Upon arrival at Hmuifang, enjoy lunch at the Hmuifang Tourist Resort. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing around Hmuifang Hills, known for their lush green landscapes and scenic beauty.
Continue to Thenzawl to visit Vantawng Falls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Mizoram and the highest waterfall in the state.
After sightseeing, return to Aizawl by evening for dinner.

DAY 09:
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Tamdil Lake, located approximately 60 km from Aizawl. Tamdil Lake is one of the most beautiful natural lakes in Mizoram, surrounded by lush green forests and peaceful surroundings.
The lake offers boating facilities for tourists and is an ideal spot for a relaxing day trip and picnic. Visitors can enjoy boating and spend some leisurely time amidst the serene natural surroundings.
After enjoying the scenic beauty of Tamdil Lake, return to Aizawl by evening.

After lunch, proceed to visit Unakoti, one of Tripura’s most remarkable archaeological and cultural sites. Dating back to approximately the 7th–9th centuries CE, Unakoti is renowned for its magnificent rock-cut sculptures and carvings depicting Hindu deities. The site is often described as an open-air art gallery, featuring numerous colossal figures and intricate carvings set against a backdrop of lush green hills.
Explore the fascinating rock-cut sculptures and enjoy the scenic surroundings before returning to Dharmanagar by evening.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and relax.

DAY 12:
Morning: After an early breakfast, depart for Agartala, the capital city of Tripura, located approximately 180 km away, with a journey of around 5 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions.
Agartala, the capital of Tripura, is situated close to the India–Bangladesh international border and has historically been an important border-trading town. The city was founded in 1838 by Maharaja Krishna Kishore Manikya, who ruled Tripura from 1830 to 1849. The capital was subsequently shifted from Old Agartala to the present Agartala area in the mid-19th century.
Upon arrival in Agartala, proceed to the hotel and complete the check-in formalities.

DAY 13:
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for sightseeing in and around Agartala.
Ujjayanta Palace: Situated in the heart of Agartala, Ujjayanta Palace is one of the city’s most prominent landmarks. The magnificent two-storey palace features a blend of architectural styles and is distinguished by its three large domes, with the central dome rising approximately 86 feet above the ground. The palace is surrounded by beautiful gardens, reflecting pools, and lush greenery.
Neermahal: Later, proceed to Neermahal, located approximately 53 km from Agartala. One of Tripura’s most famous attractions, Neermahal stands majestically in the middle of Rudrasagar Lake. The palace was commissioned by Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur and completed in 1930. Its name, Neermahal, literally means “Water Palace.” The palace is renowned for its beautiful architecture and picturesque surroundings, making it one of the finest scenic attractions in Tripura.
After sightseeing, return to Agartala and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 14:
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Udaipur, also known as the “City of Lakes,” located approximately 60 km from Agartala.
Upon arrival in Udaipur, visit the famous Tripureswari Kali Temple (Tripura Sundari Temple), one of the most important Shakti Peethas in India. Take some time to explore the temple and its surroundings.
Later, proceed towards Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary, located en route. The sanctuary is known for its rich biodiversity, lush greenery, and various species of birds and animals.
After sightseeing, return to Agartala by late afternoon. Later, proceed to the Akhaura Integrated Check Post, located along the India–Bangladesh border, to witness the evening flag-lowering ceremony (subject to the day’s schedule and prevailing border regulations).
After the ceremony, return to the hotel.

DAY 15:
After breakfast, the morning will be free for leisure and personal activities. Enjoy an early lunch at the hotel and, thereafter, proceed to Agartala Airport for your connecting flight to Kolkata.
