TOUR PROGRAMME IN DETAILS:

DAY 01:

Departure from Kolkata (Howrah) by Mithila Express (Train No. 13021) from Howrah to Raxaul at 15:45hrs. Overnight journey by train. Packed dinner will be served.

OVERNIGHT IN TRAIN

DAY 02:

Morning arrival at Raxaul by 9:00AM. After crossing the Nepal border (14 km), arrive at Birgunj. Freshen up and have early lunch, then drive to Chitwan (approx. 110 km / 2 hours). On arrival, transfer to the respective hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

STAY AT CHITWAN

DAY 03:

Early morning jeep drive to explore the jungle, followed by breakfast. Chitwan jungle activities include a morning jeep safari, visit to the elephant breeding center, lunch, canoe boat ride on The Rapti River, and evening Tharu cultural dance program. Dinner and overnight stay.

STAY AT CHITWAN

DAY 04:

Morning after breakfast, drive to Pokhara (approx. 4 hours). On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Visit Devi’s Fall and Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, major attractions of the city. Evening free to enjoy natural beauty, followed by a one-hour boat ride at Phewa Lake.

STAY AT POKHARA

DAY 05:

Early morning by 04:00 AM visit Sarangkot Sunrise & Boating: Early morning drive to Sarangkot for sunrise views over the Annapurna range. Sightseeing Visit; Davis Falls, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, Seti River Gorge, and Bindhyabasini Temple. Afternoon boating on Phewa Lake and a visit to Tal Barahi Temple. And visit Mahadev Statue and World Peace pagoda. Rest day free for Leisure.

STAY AT POKHARA

DAY 06:

Morning after breakfast, drive to Kathmandu (approx. 5 hours / 145 km). En route, visit the Manakamana Cable Car (ropeway ticket USD10 per person, at own cost). On arrival, transfer to the respective hotel.

STAY AT KATHMANDU

DAY 07:

After breakfast, proceed for Kathmandu city and temple tour. Today’s sightseeing offers an incredible mix of culture, history, spirituality, art, and stories of Nepal. Visit Swayambhunath (Buddhist Stupa), Patan Durbar Square—one of the three medieval palace squares known for its rich Rart and architecture—and Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred Hindu temple area in the country. Non-Hindu visitors can observe the Hindu cremation rituals on the banks of the Bagmati River. Return by late afternoon, Followed by lunch. Rest of the day is free for shopping and leisure in Kathmandu.

STAY AT KATHMANDU

DAY 08:

Morning after breakfast, depart for Nagarkot. The Nagarkot day hiking tour is a beautiful experience amidst the natural surroundings of the Kathmandu Valley ridge. Drive to Nagarkot, located about 32 km east of Kathmandu. Nagarkot is a peaceful country side area offering panoramic views of the Langtang range and other Himalayan peaks on a clear day.

After lunch, return to Kathmandu. En route, visit Bhaktapur Nyatapola Temple, an 18th-century temple and the tallest temple in Nepal, built in 1702 and dedicated to Goddess Siddhi Lakshmi. Return to Kathmandu by evening. Rest of the evening is free,
Followed by dinner.

STAY AT KATHMANDU

DAY 09:

After Breakfast, depart for Birgunj. The journey takes approximately six hours. Upon Arrival, check in and relax.

STAY AT BIRGUNJ

DAY 10:

Morning after breakfast, depart for the connecting train to Kolkata by Mithila Express (TrainNo.13022) at 10:15hrs. Cross the border and board, overnight journey by train for Kolkata.

OVERNIGHT IN TRAIN

DAY 11:

Morning arrival at Howrah Station and transfer to Sweet Home.

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

• A non-refundable deposit of ₹10,000 per person is required to confirm a booking if the travel date is more than 30 days from the booking date. If the travel date is within 30 days, a non-refundable deposit of ₹5,000 per person is required.
• A deposit of 50% of the holiday cost is required if the travel date is more than 20 days from the booking date.
• A deposit of 75% of the holiday cost is required if the travel date is more than 10 days from the booking date.
• 100% of the holiday cost is required as deposit if the travel date is less than 10 days from the booking date.
