TOUR PROGRAMME IN DETAILS:

DAY 01:

Arrival at Dibrugarh – Upon arrival at Dibrugarh Airport/Railway Station, our representative will warmly welcome all the guests. This will be followed by a brief self-introduction session and tour briefing. After completing the check-in formalities at the hotel, the rest of the day will be at leisure for relaxation or to explore the nearby local area of Dibrugarh at your own pace.

STAY AT DIBRUGARH

DAY 02:

Morning after breakfast drive to Miao , the journey it takes 4 hrs and it’s almost 160 km , we will drive to a small town called Miao. To be able to reach on time and to enjoy some interesting places
On our way from Dibrugarh towards Miao, we cross the oil town of Digboi. Digboi Oil Field is the first oil field in Asia. If time allows, we will also visit the Oil India Museum at Digboi, which is a very interesting place to visit. We will reach Miao by afternoon and transferred to the hotel and Night stay.

STAY AT MIAO

DAY 03:

Morning after Breakfast drive to namdhala national park and it takes 3 hrs drive and just 100 km and on arrival visit the forest. The Namdhapa National Park is in Miao. The plan for today is to visit this breathtakingly beautiful gem and explore the diverse flora and fauna of the park, known for its rich biodiversity. We will go for a jungle trek inside the park, enjoying birding, nature walks, and wildlife spotting. After our Namdhapa Jungle trek, we proceed to the Tibetian villages nearby and also visit their Arts and Crafts center there. It is a great place to buy some handmade souvenirs to take back home with you. By evening, we head back to our stay at Miao

STAY AT MIAO

DAY 04:

Morning after breakfast drive to further east, to Wakro. The journey is around 140 Km 4 hrs drive. . The drive from Maio town to Wakro is a beautiful one, with many interesting reasons to stop on the way. The most interesting one being the Golden Pagoda, also known as the KongmuKham, in the Tai Khamti language. The Buddha’s statue here is the world’s tallest Buddhist statue made out of bamboo and cane. After spending time at the golden pagoda at Namsai, we proceed to a nice resort by the riverside to relax and spend some time to slow down. You can also try a nice Tai-Khamti meal here.By late evening, we will check in to our stay at Wakro.

STAY AT WAKRO

DAY 05:

Morning after breakfast drive to Walong, it takes 200 km 6 hrs drive, it is one of the most picturesque drives of the region. This means you will be taking multiple stops just to gawk at the beauty around you and take tons of pictures. The one downside of this route however is the fact that this route has very few eateries on the way.

STAY AT WALONG

DAY 06:

Today we start our journey back to Wakro. However, if one of the reasons you have come so far is to witness the magic of Dong Valley where, every morning, the sun’s rays touch India first, you are going to have a very long day today. Before you can start the 1 hour and 20 minutes trek to the Dong Valley, you will have to get up and leave by 2 am from your stay, to reach the trek’s starting point on time.

STAY AT WALONG

DAY 07:

After enjoying breakfast in the morning, it’s time to start our journey to Namsai. The route will take us through the scenic countryside, where you can admire the lush greenery and quaint villages. Enroute, we stop at Hindu pilgrimage site Parshuram Kund. It is a significant spot for devotees and is believed to be the site where Lord Parshuram, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, performed penance to wash away his sins after slaying his own mother.

STAY AT NAMSAI

DAY 08:

Morning after breakfast drive to Pasiighat and it takes 3 hrs drive and the distance is almost 156km . On arrival visit the Pasighat , the picturesque natural destination in east Arunaclal. Visit Pasighat Museum at afternoon.

STAY AT PASIGHAT

DAY 09:

Today you will drive up the Siang valley till you reach the start point of the path to Ponging village, inhabited by the Adi Minyong tribe. You will need to walk over a hanging bridge over the Siang river, which will be an experience in itself. On crossing the bridge walk up through mixed forests and fields to Ponging village. The hike to and from will take around 4 hours . Relax for the remainder of the day.

STAY AT PASIGHAT

DAY 10:

After breakfast drive down to Roing and it takes 2 hrs drive, 100km The drive is an interesting one through picturesque landscapes, including crossing over a dry river bed. On the way you will take a brief halt at Dambuk, the orange country of Arunachal . Take a short walk around the picturesque orange orchards which will be ripe with fruit in December. Roing is the gateway to Dibang valley, drained by the Dibang river – one of the major tributaries of the Brahmaputra . This area is also referred to as the Mishmi Hills, since it is inhabited by the Mishmi tribe. The area is a biodiversity hotspot 6000 plant species, 100 mammal species and about 700 bird species.

STAY AT ROING

DAY 11:

In the morning drive to Mayodia pass 56km, which would probably be snowbound in end of December . At 2655 meters above sea level this pass offers good views of the surrounding mountains. You can keep taking breaks to walk on the road so as to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the place. By late afternoon drive back to Roing. In the evening you can visit nearby village of the Idu Mishmi tribe.

STYA AT ROING

DAY 12:

Morning after Breakfast drive to Dibrugarh Airpor and it takes 4 hrs drive, approx 190km, and on arrival transferred to Kolkata.
